Shane started dancing at the age of three and continued studying dance throughout college and has a BFA in Dance/Theater. She has danced in the NBA for several years with the Nets and as a back-up dancer for several artists. She has coached and choreographed for many award winning cheer/dance teams. Shane works as an ABA Instructor, also teaches dance for children with disabilities and holds a fitness certification. She is currently studying to become a Dance Therapist.
Julie Finkel began her professional dance training at Alvin Ailey American Dance Center where she completed their independent Study Program. She later went on to study dance at Empire State College where she received her B.A. in Dance Studies. Julie has taught dance for over ten years in NYC at schools including Ballet Academy East and The Marymount School. During the summers, she was co-creator of a Performing Arts Dance Camp for girls ages 3-7 for C.A.T.S. Dance Program. Julie is also a certified yoga instructor and offers classes to both children and adults in and around the Glen Rock community.
Nicole Mahncke (Nikki Manx) is a studio owner, dance educator, choreographer, performer, and arts advocate. Nikki received her BFA in dance from Rutgers and is a graduate student online studying Arts Leadership and Cultural Management. She is a proud board member of the New Jersey Arts Education Collective and formerly Art of Motion, where she is now the Co-Founder of HeART in Motion (Ridgewood, NJ). As a certified dance educator, Nikki is a Teaching Artist for Bergen PAC, senior homes, mixed abilities, foster youth and liturgical committees. As the Artistic Director of Nikki Manx Dance Project, she received seven Bergen County grants to produce work regarding environmental sustainability and social justice since 2008.
